2002 Lexus RX300 in Casitas Springs

2002 Lexus RX300 in Casitas Springs -- This one had a power steering pump going bad. I had told the customer on the previous visit where I fixed a leaking valve cover gasket, that the oil soaked alternator would likely be going bad soon also.

After the power steering pump job was complete, he started it up every thing sounded nice now, no more wailing pump noise, but about that time he said "Hey! The battery light just came on!" Sure enough the charging system wasn't working. The alternator went out while I was there watching the motor run. It was good when we moved the car into position before the job.

So I got an alternator delivered, and had it installed pretty quick, all good now.
