Amusement Park Ride Trailer in Calabasas -- Got a call this morning, a company from way out of the area had a driver stuck with a broken leaf spring on the trailer. The ONLY springs available on a Saturday were in Buellton.. this driver was absolutely stranded in a semi-remote location. He spent Friday night in the truck and had been stuck there all day.
So once all the arrangements were taken care of, I took off for Buellton, snagged the spring, and hot shotted down to Calabasas. The driver was lucky to be able to pull over immediately, unfortunately it was on a pretty steep embankment.
Using some tricks, we were able to line up the spring and get it installed. Today was a good day!
