Kubota BX-24 in Ojai

Kubota BX-24 in Ojai -- Oil/Filter service including Hydraulic, Fuel and Air filters. When I went to remove the old plastic engine cover to get to the fuel filter, unfortunately it snapped in half, oh boy.. and I barely moved it is the harsh part. In this field old heat cycled and weathered plastic breaking is always a possibility, no matter how careful you are. For this reason we carry a plastic repair kit with industrial/construction hot glue on board. Many thanks to the very understanding customer. The repair came out very well and is now stronger than it was. Its important to show the whoopsies as well as the wins I think.

About a year ago, we repaired an engine intake resonator that we found while working on something else for a customer, I offered to patch it up for him, and just last month we went back to that same truck and the repair still looked like we had just done it. This ain't your grandmas hot glue gun! 🤣
